The week is flying by. On Thursday I will be going back to black hemp. There is a bit of a backlog, however I prepped the pockets and belts as well as straps. The actual sewing and building progresses rather well and if I put in ten hour days I can produce very well and get the orders done in a timely fashion.
Lot of work has been accomplished behind the scenes on the website, with constructive advice from friends. A shopping cart will be in the realm of possibility shortly.
I haven’t had much chance to work on the forum. but it has been opened up and you are welcome to comment however you still have to register. Though you can read posts as a guest.
Of course you can comment on my ramblings on the blog as well.
Cheers
Robert
I received news yesterday that the green leather kilt I made earlier this month is now in the hands of it’s commissioner.
here is a comment he posted on a forum.
“Its here!! A mere week’s shipping from Canada. This is one beautiful kilt! So much more than I’d expected. Two things leap out. The sensual beauty of the leather and Robert’s craftsmanship. It takes skill and experience to do this work. Don’t know anyone else that can sew up a leather kilt this well, or this beautifully, and be willing to hang their name on the finished work.
And it fits perfectly. What an incredible garment this is. … to look at and strap on the finished product just feel joy and some pride. ”
Yes, pics soon…hopefully this weekend…..
It’s always wonderful to know that the kilt fits and the customer is happy.
Just thought I would share
Cheers
Robert
