Just got back from the post office where I dropped off a leather kilt heading for Pennsylvania. A brisk walk, my legs were fine, but a cold north wind would make the pleats dance.
Spring is around the corner, and I won’t deny it, I’m looking forward to warmer weather.
Lance (co-op student) was in for a few hours and turned out 10 lovely straps for the braided sporran belts. I will get him to make more components tomorrow and perhaps Kilt belts next week.
Customer just came into the shop to pick-up his black hemp kilt equipped with a dare from his family to wear it home in, what appears to be, the coldest day of February.
